Villa (timeless series) Pedralbes, Spain

REMODELLING THE PAST

This beautiful house in Barcelona dates back to 1905. The architect restored or, in fact, restructured this house in the Pedralbes district with a sense of respect for its authentic character. In order to treasure the historic character of the house, Alba Bagudà Pericot selected contrasting contemporary elements. The door fittings are an important aspect of this design.

MAKING UP FOR CEILINGS FROM THE PAST

This selection of the FORMANI® Timeless line is an inherent part of the philosophy on which this project is based. The fittings compensate the ornate plaster ceiling and brings the impressive crystal chandelier to a contemporary level. It also ties in with the interplay between black and white that has been used.

CONCEPT-ENABLING HARDWARE

The elegance of the black and chrome fittings matches the added design elements such as the impressive black, metal wall that partitions the dining room. The display case, white marble hearth from Paris, and the statue purchased at an antique shop are a part of the interplay between black and white.
