Functional and inviting family home
The Studio Piet Boon team has been asked to create a new interior design for this beautifully located, stately, Amsterdam family home. The client’s request was to carry out a contemporary renovation to create a functional and inviting family home. The renovation accentuates the character of the house that has developed over time.
Harmonious interior
The renovation created open spaces which makes the interior look dramatic. The high ceilings combined with the use of pivot doors fitted with our ONE collection in the bronze finish and a glass facade create a light, airy and harmonious interior. Moreover, the doors add a touch of tradition to the modern look of the open floor.
Modern luxury
In the large living space you find a mix of elegant furniture, natural materials and personal art which creates a rich environment with appealing textures. This is a unique family home that is both beautiful and functional. It is a perfect example of modern luxury where a harmonious interior with a timeless feel has been created while respecting authentic details and available natural light.
Matching colour palette
The neutral color palette consisting of chalky, earthy tones is used throughout the interior, and the contrasting hints of stronger colors surprise, and bring vibrancy to the spaces. No wonder that our ONE door handles and cabinet knobs are chosen in the colour bronze, it matches the interior perfectly!
